     So much amusing stuff in the Siskiyou Mountains, just unbelievable. Skou Dam is a picturesque place near Quackenbush Reservoir, and you'll possibly meet some folks from Medford here. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Quackenbush Reservoir. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Eagle Point Golf Course, and Quackenbush Reservoir is right by the Alco Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Quackenbush  
   Reservoir; Chicago Trail is a good local trail, and dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn and Suites White City.
This lake is so wonderful. Quackenbush Reservoir is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Emigrant Lake is a splendid place to camp nearby, and Skou Reservoir is a good lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not stop by Moore Reservoir near Quackenbush Reservoir, and a perfect place for whitewater
 
               paddling is Rogue River. On a gorgeous day you acquire a sight of Upper Table Rock from Quackenbush Reservoir, and if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Central Pt Medford OR is a perfect choice.
And that's not everything you can do here in the Siskiyou Mountains. Jackson County Parks and Rec is a good local campground, and the Red Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. High temperatures at Quackenbush Reservoir during the summertime months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Quackenbush Reservoir. The Siskiyou Mountains scenery is always beautiful.

If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
