This lake is so wonderful. The Pen Way Trail offers hiking at its best, and you'll meet a lot of folks from City of The Dalles here. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Central Cascade Range. Government Flat is a striking location any time of year; get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Klickitat River. Pullens Pond is       one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. If you came for an overnight stay Columbia River Gorge Camping is a great location to camp; why not a little side tour to North Fork Mill Creek. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Pullens Pond; the month with most of the rain is December, and July on the other hand is the driest. Man, is there a load of fun stuff to do near Pullens Pond. Cousins Country Inn is a delightful place to get some rest,                  and Pullens Pond is right by the Cedar Creek Trail. That right there is a load of cool things already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. Nearby lakes? Sure, Wassen Pond is close to Pullens Pond, and you can run the rapids of Klickitat River. This lake is so wonderful. Memaloose State Park is a good campground nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pullens Pond; Fifteenmile Creek Trail is a great local trail. You could also visit Trugg Reservoir if you're here at Pullens Pond; it's close by, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - The Dalles OR is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Pullens Pond usually tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
