If you are traveling by, why not stop by Puck Lakes. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. A good deal of rain falls at Puck Lakes; throughout the month of December you get the most snow around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Puck Lakes; Nannie Creek Trail is a brilliant local trail; on a wonderful day you get a delightful vista of Gardner Peak

Take a hike on the Cold Spring Trail, and if you have time, Crater Lake National Park is a national park worth visiting. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. You'll meet a lot of folks from Klamath Falls here. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to Puck Lakes; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Puck Lakes.
