You can run the rapids of Goble Creek near Pruitt Reservoir; Camp Kalama RV Park is a great campground nearby. Jack Falls flows through this neighborhood; folks from Longview-Kelso love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to hit the beach, Cottonwood Beach is in the vicinity. A great site for whitewater paddling next to Pruitt Reservoir is Kalama River; a round of golf at nearby Elks Lodge-Kelso-Longview       Golf Course is a nice way to kill some time. All through the summer months, highs generally are in the 70's at Pruitt Reservoir; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Pruitt Reservoir overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Pruitt Reservoir. If you get bored of Pruitt Reservoir, you could also take a look at close                  by Rainier Reservoir, and a perfect nearby hotel is Kalama River Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Scipio's Goble Landing is a good local campground, and if you need a place to stay Quality Inn and Suites is a magnificent choice. All the water falling down from the sky makes Pruitt Reservoir a wet place; the month with most of the rain is December while July is regularly the driest month.
