Not much precipitation falls here at Prospect Lake; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and July is when it's the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Prospect Lake while night lows are usually in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Prospect Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is one of the       great places here in the Wallowa Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Glacier Pass is a great place to explore close by, and Prospect Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Scenic Meadows RV Park is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The Kettle Creek Trail is a pleasant hiking trail next to Prospect Lake, and you obtain a wonderful sight of Cusick Mountain from here. Any time is a tremendous time at Prospect Lake if you go for the                  outdoors. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Prospect Lake called the Main Creek Trail, and you simply have to stop by Benson Glacier since you're here at Prospect Lake. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Wallowa Mountains, too great to be true. Going for a hike on the Copper Creek Trail is always a great adventure, and if you need a place to stay Baker City Super 8 Motel is a glorious choice. Not far from Prospect Lake, you'll come across Glacier Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and it's a great idea to explore Dennis Creek.
