     Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Indian Creek Trail; not far from Prairie City Reservoir you'll come across Stanbro Reservoir which is a charming lake. For the period of the summer at Prairie City Reservoir temperatures are typically in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Prairie City Reservoir dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Yeah, come here to Prairie  
   City Reservoir for a magnificent time. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Prairie City Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Deerhorn Campground; after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn is a brilliant location to spend a night or two.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Onion Creek Trail. Lakes? Sure, Strawberry Lake is around here. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Ragged Rocks Trail, and naturally Dixie Creek flows
 
               through this region. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Mountains. Best Western John Day Inn is a good place to get some rest; as expected, A spree to Slaughterhouse Gulch is always fun.
These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the Blue Mountains. Stay the night at Indian Springs Campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Mountains. Prairie City Reservoir gets very little rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July.
