For the period of the months of summer here at Powers Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 60's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Powers Pond. Very great water scenery is available at Coos Bay Timber Company Dam near Powers Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Powers Pond; Lower River Trail       is a great local trail. Having a nice time in the Coast Ranges is uncomplicated. Bingham Creek is close to Powers Pond and is always a diversion to have a look at; you'll in all probability meet some folks from Coos Bay here. You can see Bingham Mountain from Powers Pond, and Best Western Holiday Motel is a brilliant site to get some rest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges.
