    Powers Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Powers Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and night lows through the winter for Powers Pond tend to be in the 30's. Soar down the rapids of Coquille River - South Fork in a kayak; at Powers Pond you always meet someone from Coos Bay. A large amount of rainfall falls at Powers Pond; through December  
   this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is July.
Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Powers Pond. Bingham Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at, and going for a hike along the Mountain Wells Trail will
 
               let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
This lake is so wonderful. Powers Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Boundary Campground is a delightful local campground, and Best Western Holiday Motel is a brilliant location to get some rest. Coos Bay Timber Company Dam is a beautiful place in close proximity to Powers Pond, and camping at Powers Park is always a great experience. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more enjoyable things to do in the Coast Ranges. While you're here at Powers Pond you can take a hike along the Lower River Trail; the summit of Bingham Mountain can be distinguished from Powers Pond.
