A visit to Potts Lake is always a good idea. This site is peerless, just look at all the fun things to do near Potts Lake. The Gearhart Trail is a delightful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Potts Lake, and Lodge At Summer Lake is a great spot to get some rest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Potts Lake highs are generally in the 80's while overnight lows are typically

| | in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Potts Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. Potts Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Summer Lake Hot Springs is a glorious local campground, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Hanan Trail. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Southern Cascade Range will keep you coming back time | |

and again. If you came to camp North Creek Campground is a good site to do that, and close by you find the Boulder Spring Trail which is a great hiking trail. You'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Blue Lake near Potts Lake;
what would a site like Potts Lake be without attention-grabbing nearby features like Monument Rock.
Potts Lake is pretty dried up usually; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is the month
with the least amount of precipitation. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Cascade Range. A pleasant spree to Kates Dairy is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, and after a long day outdoors Summer Lake Inn is a splendid
spot to spend a night or two. Kelly Creek is in close proximity to Potts Lake and is always a pleasure to pop by; at Potts Lake you can catch a glimpse of Slide Mountain.
This lake is so wonderful.
