In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Porter Lake is one of them. Yeah, come here to Porter Lake for a great time. Carter Lake - Siuslaw National Forest is a brilliant campground here, and enjoy a round of golf at Marysville Golf Course. Clark Slough is an interesting swamp close to Porter Lake, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Marys River. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful close by hotel is Budget Inn, and don't leave Porter Lake without first checking out Sam Daws Bend. High temperatures at Porter Lake through the warm months are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. So much exciting stuff in the Coast Ranges, just astonishing. Camping at Porter Lake is good fun, Oakvilla Mobile Home Park is a good local campground; Corvalis Hotel is a glorious site to get some
rest. And that's not all there is to do here in the Coast Ranges. Here at Porter Lake you'll probably meet some people from Corvallis; naturally, this is a magnificent region for folks who like lakes, Baker Lake is a lake in the neighborhood.
This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges.
This lake is so wonderful. Winkle Butte is trouble-free to spot from Porter Lake, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Willamette River.
