     This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little visit to Cougar Creek since you're here at Porcipine Reservoir, and Cinnabar Flat is a great place here at Porcipine Reservoir. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Porcipine Reservoir; Coffeepot Trail is a good local trail; camping at Pine Tree Campground is always a great experience.
Porcipine Reservoir is pretty waterless frequently; the wettest month of the year is commonly November,
 
   that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is September. Man, is there loads of entertaining stuff to do in the Blue Mountains. Porcipine Reservoir is not the only place close by, Sedge Two Reservoir is a close by lake, and nice hiking is available along the South Prong Trail. Having a great time at Porcipine Reservoir is simple. From Porcipine Reservoir you acquire a glorious panorama of Spur Butte, and John Day Fossil Beds National Monument  
               is one of the destinations that are splendid to pop by nearby.
The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Strip Spring; a perfect location to camp here at Porcipine Reservoir is Fish House Inn. So much fun stuff to do here in the Blue Mountains, too splendid to be true. You could also pop by Sedge Reservoir since you're here at Porcipine Reservoir; it's close by, and there's magnificent hiking along the Black Canyon Trail. The Blue Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
Throughout the summertime highs here at Porcipine Reservoir reach the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows all through the winter for Porcipine Reservoir tend to be in the 10's.
