The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. You simply must check out Benson Glacier if you're here at Pocket Lake. Summertime at Pocket Lake       comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are typically in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Pocket Lake. If you need a place to stay Baker City Super 8 Motel is a delightful choice, and on a pretty day you obtain a nice view of Eagle Cap from Pocket Lake. You're probably addicted to lakes, Prospect Lake is one of those close by; you can have a great hiking adventure                  along the Kettle Creek Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Wallowa Mountains. Camping at Wallowa Lake State Park is always a great experience, and you have to positively dedicate some time to Lake Basin while you're here at Pocket Lake.
