That right there is a load of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. High temperatures at Placer Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 60's while nighttime lows are generally in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's, and overnight lows during the winter for Placer Lake tend to be in the 30's. Be careful       coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever wanna go home again. Alsea Bay Trailer Park is a pleasant campground here, and if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Inn Waldport is a tremendous choice. This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges. So many amusing things to do at Placer Lake, so little time. Why not pop by close by Annice Creek since you're here at Placer Lake, and a perfect close by hotel is Shamrock Lodgettes. This lake is so                  wonderful. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Drift Creek, and a day at Holly Beach is time well spent. Placer Lake mostly gets a large amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is December while July is commonly the driest month. Camping at Placer Lake is splendid fun, Beachside State Park is a splendid local campground, and going for a hike on the Horse Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure.
