The beauty of Pilkens reservoir is reason enough to stop by. All the water falling down from the sky makes Pilkens reservoir a wet place; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Pilkens reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go home again. Pilkens reservoir is not the only site close by, Tadmor Lake is a close by lake,

| | and the panorama of stunning Greenhorn Hill is good. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Santiam River - Middle for all you thrill seekers, and why not take a little visit to Lewis Creek since you're here. That right there is heaps of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. here; it's not far at all. You can run the rapids of Santiam River - South right next door to Pilkens reservoir, and do take a hike on the Crabtree Lake Trail. Throughout the warm months here at Pilkens reservoir, high temperatures
frequently get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Pilkens reservoir tend to
be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Michigan Heights Trail is magnificent fun. Rodeway Inn Sublimity is a nice place to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Foster Lake Campground. Not enough hours
in a day to enjoy this place. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Pilkens reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Edgewater RV Resort and Marina; you'll meet a lot of folks from Albany-Lebanon here.
