That right there is heaps of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Snow Peak Mill City Trail, as expected you could also have a look at Watters Reservoir while you're                  here; it's not far at all. You can run the rapids of Santiam River - South right next door to Pilkens reservoir, and do take a hike on the Crabtree Lake Trail. Throughout the warm months here at Pilkens reservoir, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's.
