If you are traveling by, why not stop by Pika Lake. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Pika Lake. Swede Creek is right next door to Pika Lake and is always a delight to visit; Tombstone Prairie Campground is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Marion Creek offers some great whitewater, and there's wonderful hiking along the Duffy Lake Trail. This lake is

The high level of rainfall makes Pika Lake a reasonably wet site; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that rains the most while July is commonly the driest month. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Santiam River - North, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pika Lake; Lava Trail is a brilliant local trail. back time and again. A lake nearby is Fay Lake; there are swamps here too, Big Meadows is in the neighborhood. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a tremendous time. Don't leave Pika Lake without first going for a
hike along the Turpentine Peak Trail, and Country Star Recreational Vehicle Park is a glorious campground nearby. For the period of the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 70's at Pika Lake. Summer night lows descend
down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Pika Lake temperatures descend to the 30's.
