Pembrook Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Pembrook Reservoir. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Pembrook Reservoir. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Row River, and a fine location to camp here at Pembrook Reservoir is Best Western Inn. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Cottage Grove is a wonderful choice,

| | and camping is available at Sherwood Forest Koa. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Eugene-Springfield here; do stop by Eppenbaugh Reservoir, it's a scenic lake. Pembrook Reservoir gets lots of water; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Cottage Grove, Or, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Willamette River. This lake is so wonderful. A striking lake like Fadeley Reservoir next to Pembrook Reservoir is a pleasant place to pop by, and playing golf is lots of fun
at Hidden Valley Golf Course. Duck Bay is in close proximity and always magnificent to stop at, and if you're here, you could explore North Fork Hill Creek.

 | 18 miles away ... In these situations, no one is able to get near the base of the falls because of the force of the water at Wildwood Falls. So, please, if you are promoting this beautiful, narrow, not very deep stretch of river, with it's rapids and scenic beauty, do so responsibly and mentions the safety tips I offer here...people need to be extra careful with Wildwood Falls, wear the appropriate gear (helmet, good shoes, life vest...and not go into the Wildwood falls basin before July. And bring plenty of water to avoid dehydration. Anyone attempting to navigate the actual falls in the fall, winter or spring after the water level is up is asking for a serious situation and statics show a probable death. The thrashing debris in the basin below Wildwood Falls is not that obvious. The high water looks exciting, a thrilling ride for experienced boaters. Please advise people of this fact. These deaths and serious injuries are avoidable if people are smart about their fun. I live at the original Wildwood Lodge by the falls and see it every year for the past 25 years.
