Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Corbia Lake; if you're here you can take a hike along the High Camp Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mollala River - North Fork, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Pine Crest Trail. This lake       is so wonderful. Not far from Pelkey Lake, you'll discover Beeres Pond which is a stunning lake, and Mollala River - South Fork has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. And that's not all there is to do here in the Central Cascade Range. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Pelkey Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cascade Sports Camp; dry warm beds await you at Canby Country Inn. A                  good deal of rainfall falls at Pelkey Lake; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. Bear Creek is a delightful stream that is worth visiting. Pelkey Lake is a fine location to visit for more than one day, Camp Dakota is a fine location to camp nearby; if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Baty Silver King Trail. Summertime at Pelkey Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
