Man, is there a load of amusing things to do in the Coast Ranges. There's whitewater on Nehalem River for all you adrenaline junkies, and Maple Headquarters Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Pecks Pond is a wet location that gets a great deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Pecks Pond       reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are typically in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Pecks Pond. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Hillsboro is a great choice, and swing by Cedar Canyon Creek it's a fine site to have a look at. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Pecks Pond. Camping at Washington County Fair Grounds is always a great experience, and                  after a long day outdoors Best Western University Inn is a glorious spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Rock Creek; a round of golf at nearby Sunset Grove Golf Course is a brilliant way to kill some time. So many cool things to do here in the Coast Ranges, too glorious to be true. Pecks Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Horning's Fishing & Picnic is a great local campground. Maple Headquarters Dam is worth checking out if you're here, and since you're here, you could also visit pretty Heesacker Reservoir.
