So much entertaining stuff to do at Pear Lake, so little time. Upper South Fork Campground is a delightful local campground; do check out Horseshoe Lake, it's a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll find a lovely lake called South Blue Lake Group near Pear Lake, and a short tour to Christis Spring is always worthwhile. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things       in the Southern Cascade Range. Hiking along the South Fork Trail is good fun, and if you came for an overnight stay Saddle Campground is a great location to camp. At Pear Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 80's; the overnight is slightly chillier of course, usually in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Pear Lake. Pear Lake is located in the Southern                  Cascade Range. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Southern Cascade Range. A typical amount of rain falls here at Pear Lake; most of the rain falls through November, and the driest of the months is July. Take a hike on the Blue Rock Trail; if you have the time, Crater Lake National Park is a national park worth stopping at.
