This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. Just can't get enough of Peak Log Pond. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Peak Log Pond is Alsea River - South Fork, and naturally Alder Creek flows through this region. You get a great view of Bald Hill from Peak Log Pond, and if you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Marysville Golf Course.       Lakes are such calm locations, why not stop by Corvallis Reservoir in the neighborhood of Peak Log Pond, and a great site to camp here at Peak Log Pond is Corvallis Mobile Home Park. That right there is a heap of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. You can run the rapids of Marys River near Peak Log Pond, and why not camp at Benton Oaks RV and Campground since you're here at Peak Log Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There are other                  places here than Peak Log Pond, for example Larson Log Pond, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Corvallis is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. A good deal of precipitation falls at Peak Log Pond; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever wanna return home again. At Peak Log Pond you always meet someone from Corvallis, and Harrison House Bed and Breakfast is a nice site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Peak Log Pond during the warm months are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's.
