    Pawnee Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. If you come at the right time of year, Marion Creek offers some fine whitewater; the Wolf Spring Trail offers hiking at its best. All the outdoors amusing things in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back time and again. There's delightful hiking along the Fish Lake Trail, and why not camp at Trout Lake Campground if you're  
   here at Pawnee Lake.
Summertime at Pawnee Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Pawnee Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Hoodoo, and why not have a look at close by South Fork North Fork Breitenbush River since you're here at Pawnee Lake.

               typically gets a great deal of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while July is commonly the driest month. Yeah, come here to Pawnee Lake for a good time. A tremendous swamp in the vicinity of Pawnee Lake is Cornpatch Meadow, and hey, Gotta ski right? Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is a good place to do that. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Don't leave Pawnee Lake without first going for a hike along the Cub Creek Trail, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Collawash River.
A brilliant location to camp here at Pawnee Lake is Lemiti Campground; a picturesque lake like Fork Lake is a delightful location to go to. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Double Peaks is easily seen from Pawnee Lake, and you'll hit upon a lovely lake called Double Peaks Lake.
