At Patterson Pond you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November; the driest month of the year is July. A great spot to camp here at Patterson Pond is Ray Cole Campground; do check out San Juan Log Ponds, it's a lovely lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the Blue Mountains has to offer. Going for a hike on the Berry Creek Trail is always a great adventure,       and camping at Clyde Holliday is always a perfect experience. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Burns - Days Inn Ponderosa is a splendid choice, and there are splendid locations to explore along the Canyon Mountain Trail. That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; Patterson Pond has it all. A visit to Big Springs will fill your spirit with pleasant feelings, and swing by Canyon Creek it's a great place to stop by. This                  lake is so wonderful. Near Patterson Pond you find the Fawn Spring Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western John Day Inn, and a golf course close by is John Day Golf Club. Patterson Pond is located in the Blue Mountains. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Patterson Pond. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. All through the winter the highs are generally in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Patterson Pond. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Blue Mountains rules!
