     The Thirsty Camp Trail is a nice hiking trail near Patjens Lakes, and you can hit the slopes at Mt. Bachelor in the neighborhood. Patjens Lakes is a wet location that gets a lot of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. That right there is a heap of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. There are other locations here than Patjens Lakes, for example Lard Lake, and there's no such  
   thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Hoodoo.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Patjens Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Suttle Lake Resort and Marina is a magnificent site for that, and do put some time aside to spend at Coldwater Spring since you're here at Patjens Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Horse Creek. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Marion Creek, and there is a great
 
               hiking trail nearby called the Pocket Way.
Patjens Lakes is located in the Central Cascade Range. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Central Cascade Range. On a great day at Patjens Lakes you can take a hike along the Patjens Lakes Trail, and if you came to camp Tombstone Prairie Campground is a perfect spot to do that. All through the long summer days highs here at Patjens Lakes reach the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Patjens Lakes dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
So much amusing stuff to do here at Patjens Lakes, too great to be true. Big Lake is a brilliant lake near Patjens Lakes; dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Suttle Lake.
