A great site for whitewater paddling close to Parks Lake Reservoir is Mill Creek, and camping is available at Ash Creek Mobile Park. You'll find a picturesque lake called Beyers Pond near Parks Lake Reservoir, and you can catch a sight of Holmes Hill from Parks Lake Reservoir. During the months of summer here at Parks Lake Reservoir, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. When       the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Parks Lake Reservoir dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. The high level of rainfall makes Parks Lake Reservoir a reasonably wet location; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Phoenix Grand Hotel is a splendid                  place to get some rest, and camping at Eola Bend Rv Park is always a nice experience. An afternoon playing golf at Oak Knoll Golf Course is always a delight; Parks Lake Reservoir is not far at all from Salem. Marx Dam is not far at all from Parks Lake Reservoir, and needless to say Baskett Slough flows through this area. This lake is so wonderful. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Parks Lake Reservoir.
