If you are in Hood River county it's always a good idea to stop by Oval Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Oval Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Clinger Campground is a brilliant place for that; skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows is one of those things you just ought to do. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Cold Point is painless to spot from Oval Lake;

| | soar down the rapids of White River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Hood River Inn; nearby you stumble on the Badger Creek Trail which is a great hiking trail. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Hood River is a perfect choice; Dog River Springs is an inspiring place to check out while here. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. of Oval Lake called the Pine Creek Trail. You simply should have a thing about Oval Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Cooper Spur if you're here; there's some flowing water nearby, Drop Creek is a stream
you can pop by while here. Do stop at Badger Lake close to Oval Lake, it's a pretty lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Oval Lake has to offer, you can camp at Nottingham Campground. And if that's not enough
there's a heap more exciting stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. If you come at the right time of year, White River offers some delightful whitewater, and Eightmile Meadow is a wonderful place to check out. This lake is one
of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Oval Lake is a reasonably wet place typically with much rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the
driest month. Here at Oval Lake there are plenty of people from Hood River, and the Lookout Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Oval Lake reach the 70's. Summer night lows
sink down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Oval Lake are in the 30's.
