| | month is July. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a fine time. Timberline Lodge is a tremendous place to get some rest; camping at Clinger Campground is always a good experience. Good hiking is available along the Lookout Mountain Trail, and the friendly people of Hood River like to hang out nearby. Spur is a perfect choice; you can run the rapids of White River. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do close to Oval Lake. Cooper Spur is a glorious local ski area, and there's delightful hiking along the Pine Creek
Trail. Oval Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. Dog River Springs is a good local attraction, and Drop Creek is next to Oval Lake and is always a joy to take a look at. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant
trip to Eightmile Meadow is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon, and get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of White River. For the duration of the summer at Oval Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and throughout
summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Oval Lake. The slopes of Mt. Hood Meadows are so inviting noone can resist, and the Badger Creek Trail offers hiking at its best.
