    Go to Opal Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Opal Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back many times. This is a pleasant neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Andy Lake is a lake close at hand; don't leave Opal Lake without first going for a hike along the Timpanogas Way. Opal Lake gets a great deal of water; the month with most of the rain is December while July is  
   the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Cornett Lake; in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hills Creek. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Opal Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Opal Lake has to offer, you can camp at Shelter Cove Resort; you
 
               can go for a hike on the Sawtooth Way. Opal Lake is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Lake Lucile Campground is a glorious site to camp nearby; Crater Lake National Park is a fine national park.
A day on the slopes of Willamette Pass is just what you need, and going for a hike on the Windy Pass Way is always a brilliant adventure. For the period of the summer months at Opal Lake highs are commonly in the 80's; the overnight is rather chillier of course, mostly in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Opal Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a nice time.
