    Olive Lake is a lake worth visiting. At Olive Lake you don’t see much precipitation; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. A quick trip to East Fork of North Fork Desolation Creek right next door to Olive Lake is a tremendous idea, and why not camp at Corrigal Spring Campground since you're here at Olive Lake. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Lost Lake Trail; dry warm beds await  
   you at Best Western John Day Inn.
Olive Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. This place is excellent, just explore all the cool things to do close to Olive Lake. Chrome Spring is a great local attraction, and a fine place to camp here at Olive Lake is Deerhorn Campground.
Just can't get enough of the Blue Mountains. Why not take a look at Olive Lake Dam if you're here, and going for a hike along the Chinaman Trail
 
               will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. And that's not all the things to do here in the Blue Mountains. Everybody loves Lost Meadow, and glide down the rapids of John Day River - North Fork in a kayak. Summer at Olive Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Olive Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Spruce Log Trail, and Olive Lake is near Anderson Gulch which is beyond doubt worth checking out.
