    If you are in Grant county it's always a good idea to stop by Olive Lake. Man, is there plenty of exciting stuff to do in the Blue Mountains. Why not camp at Corrigal Spring Campground while you're here at Olive Lake. Lakes? Sure, Upper Reservoir is in the vicinity. Olive Lake Dam is worth taking a look at since you're here, and Chrome Spring is a splendid local attraction. You truly should fancy the Blue Mountains. There are other locations here than Olive  
   Lake, for example Lost Lake, and you might also want to pay a visit to Anderson Gulch since you're here at Olive Lake.
And that's not all you can do here at Olive Lake. It's a brilliant idea to have a look at East Fork of North Fork Desolation Creek, it's near Olive Lake, and don't leave Olive Lake without first going for a hike along the Spruce Log Trail. There's nice hiking along the Lost Lake Trail, and while you're here at Olive Lake it's a tremendous
 
               idea to explore Lost Meadow. This lake is so wonderful. The Chinaman Trail offers hiking at its best, and get soaked paddling on John Day River - North Fork.
Olive Lake gets very little rain; through the month of November you get the most rain around here while July is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Deerhorn Campground, and Best Western John Day Inn is a pleasant site to get some rest. The Blue Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
High temperatures at Olive Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 30's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Olive Lake.
