Why not take a refreshing hike along the Cub Creek Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Hoodoo is rather near. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not all you can do here in the Central Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Marion Creek; one of the main features of the surroundings of Olallie Lake is Olallie Butte. This lake is so wonderful. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Fish Lake Trail; get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Collawash River. Olallie Lake has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay Trout Lake Campground is a magnificent location to camp, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not take a look at Mangriff Lake. For the period of the summer, highs commonly
are in the 70's at Olallie Lake while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Olallie Lake. Olallie Lake is a reasonably wet place typically
with much rain; most of the rain falls during December, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range.

 | Roundtrip Distance 13.7 miles Elevation Gain 2,348 ft. This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not. In many instances the hiker will travel down a false herd path and eventually have to correct his/her course via backtracking.
