Go to Olalla Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. At Olalla Reservoir through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 60's; the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, typically in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Olalla Reservoir dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. And if that's not enough there's lots more amusing stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. Paddling on Siletz River is so much fun. Whitewater

| | paddling is great on Drift Creek, and Ollala Dam is a location that is close to Olalla Reservoir.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Olalla Reservoir. Enjoy a round of golf at Olalla Valley Golf Course not far from Olalla Reservoir, and there are other locations here than Olalla Reservoir, for example Ollala Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Toledo Hotel, and you can go for a hike on the Horse Creek | |

Trail. Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Olalla Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Harbor Village Trailer Park, and getting to Little Depot Creek from Olalla Reservoir
is trouble-free.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. Yaquina Bay Hotel Toledo is a fine place to get some rest, and Olalla Reservoir is a fine spot to camp, Sawyer's Landing Marina is a fine spot. Olalla
Reservoir mostly gets lots of rainfall; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest.
