If you are traveling by, why not stop by Odell Lake. If you came to camp Lake Lucile Campground is a glorious spot to do that, and taking a little spree to nearby Breezy Point is a good idea. So much exciting stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not sufficient time. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Newberry Station; there are great places to explore along the Crater Butte Trail. This lake is so wonderful.

| | that you need to camp here for a while, Shelter Cove Resort is a tremendous place for that, and a cool spot to visit is Pulpit Rock. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Willamette Pass, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Alder Creek. and do stop at Maiden Lake, it's a beautiful lake.
High temperatures at Odell Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with
highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Odell Lake are in the 20's. Odell Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Odell Lake without first going for a hike along the Fawn Lake
Trail, and a striking lake like Stag Lake is a tremendous place to take a look at.
Odell Lake gets much water; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is usually the driest month.
