Oatman Lake is a good location of normal precipitation; December is when you get the most snow here; the driest of the months is July. Oatman Lake is located in the Southern Cascade Range. Range is excellent! You'll meet a lot of folks from Klamath Falls here, and do take a hike on the South Pass Lake Trail. A pleasant spree to Indian Spring Flat is a tremendous way to spend an afternoon; if you need a place to stay
Klamath Falls Super 8 Motel is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Round Lake Golf and Mobile Estates is a perfect local campground, and going for a hike along the Varney Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
