This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Kalama River Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two, and there are plenty of people from Longview-Kelso here. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Goble Creek close to Oak Ridge Lake. Lakes? Sure, Thorn Lake is in close proximity. You are right next door to Deer Island Point since you're here at Oak Ridge Lake, and as expected Adams Creek       is a charming stream that is worth visiting. Louis L Rasmussen RV Park is a pleasant local campground, and swamps like Benham Slough are fun to stop at. A good deal of rainfall falls at Oak Ridge Lake; December is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is July. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Lake Adams. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Oak Ridge Lake get into the 70's while overnight                  lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Oak Ridge Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. There's whitewater on Kalama River for all you adrenaline junkies, and while you're here here do stop at nearby Goble Beach. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Oak Ridge Lake.
