This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges. O'Black Pond is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December while July is commonly the driest month. O'Black Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Big Eddy County Park is a magnificent local campground, and if you're here, you could also go to pretty Hawkins Lake. But wait, there's more to do near       O'Black Pond. Longview Travelodge is a great location to get some rest. You'll come across a charming lake called Lindsay Lake near O'Black Pond, and glide down the rapids of Rock Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Cedar Ridge is a great place to do that, and there's a forest here called Clatsop State Forest. At O'Black Pond all through the summer months highs are in the 70's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. Daytime                  highs throughout the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at O'Black Pond are in the 30's. So many exciting things to do in the Coast Ranges, not enough time.
