What a nice lake O A Lake is. Marion Creek has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by, and Marion Flats is right here at O A Lake. This place, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Don't leave O A Lake without first going for a hike along the Turpentine Peak Trail, and paddling on Santiam River - North is so much fun. O A Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during December this area sees the most rain, and the

| | driest of the months is July.
Lodge at Suttle Lake is a great spot to get some rest; Moon Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Central Cascade Range. There are other places here than O A Lake, for example Pinet Lake, and why not head up to Hoodoo and strap some skis to your feet. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Turpentine Peak is easily seen from O A
Lake, and O A Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Tombstone Prairie Campground is a great place to camp nearby. Stay the night at Country Star Recreational Vehicle Park.

Pine Ridge Lake is close at hand; splendid hiking is available along the Duffy Lake Trail. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at O A Lake get into the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures
dip down into the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for O A Lake.
