What a nice lake North Lake is. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. All the water falling down from the sky makes North Lake a wet place; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is regularly the driest month. High temperatures at North Lake during the long summer days are in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's,

| | and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to North Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Skamania Lodge, and North Lake is a place with many visitors from Hood River. This lake is so wonderful. Timberline Lodge is a very popular ski area around here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 23. A brilliant location to camp here at North Lake is Wind Mountain Resort, and there's whitewater on Hood River | |

- West Fork for all you adrenaline kick people. Having a pleasant time at North Lake is trouble-free. Why not camp at Bigfoot Park if you're here at North Lake, and one of the governing highlights of the surroundings of North
Lake is Green Point Mountain. Hiking is a popular thing to do around North Lake; Herman Creek Trail is a great local trail. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Bear Lake is
a nearby lake that you could check out, and splendid hiking is available along the Wyeth Trail. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Hood River - Lake Branch, and you can hit the slopes at Cooper Spur close at hand. If
you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range. Don't forget to take a wonderful little journey to Gate Creek, and Best Western Columbia River Inn is a perfect place to get some rest.
