For the duration of the summer at North Fork Reservoir temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and the night is a little chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to North Fork Reservoir. A short visit to Delshazer Spring is always worthwhile, and there's great hiking along the Fanton Plaza Trail. This lake is so wonderful. experience, and Eagle Creek is a good whitewater spot close by. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Central Cascade Range. You don’t have to go far from North Fork Reservoir to catch
a sight of the water at North Fork Dam, and don't leave North Fork Reservoir without first going for a hike along the East Mountain Trail. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clackamas
River - South Fork. Lakes? Sure, Slow Springs Reservoir is around here. North Fork Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. A lot of precipitation falls at North Fork Reservoir; of all the months in a year

 | 14 miles away ...er be reached. A friend and I tried to go there last weekend and we were disappointed to find that S. Mollala Forest Rd narrows and now effectively ends. Actually, it continues, but the road is impeded by a gate sporting many 'no trespassing' signs and marking it 'private property'. When we got to this point, we were just about to turn around and go home when another car drove past us onto the road. Having driven for several hours to get there, we dared to venture further, and followed the car despite the many warnings on the gate. Now, if you are reading this please heed my advice... never do what we did. Do not try to find this trail. Listen to signs. They are usually there for a reason. We could not locate the next road to turn on because all the old street signs had been removed and all of the old turn-offs warned away the unauthorized with huge boulders blocking the road, locked gates and more no-trespassing signs.
