All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to North Fork Reservoir. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Central Cascade Range. Howard Johnson Gresham is a delightful spot to get some rest, and not far from       North Fork Reservoir you'll hit upon Sams Ponds which is a stunning lake. Any time is a brilliant time at North Fork Reservoir if you like the outdoors. A short visit to Delshazer Spring is always worthwhile, and there's great hiking along the Fanton Plaza Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the High Camp Trail, and camping is available at Silver Fox RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Northwest Land Management is always a glorious                  experience, and Eagle Creek is a good whitewater spot close by. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Central Cascade Range. You don’t have to go far from North Fork Reservoir to catch a sight of the water at North Fork Dam, and don't leave North Fork Reservoir without first going for a hike along the East Mountain Trail. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clackamas River - South Fork. Lakes? Sure, Slow Springs Reservoir is around here. North Fork Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range.
