Norris Pond gets a common amount of precipitation; through the month of November you get the most rain around here; July is the month with the least moisture. There is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Norris Pond called the Blue Rock Trail, and lakes are such calm spots, why not stop at Squaw Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. Be careful coming       to the Southern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. Near Norris Pond you discover the Four Mile Lake Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and Fourmile Lake Dam has tremendous water scenery. At Norris Pond through the warm months highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are generally in the 40's while Norris Pond nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's.                  This lake is so wonderful. On a tremendous day at Norris Pond you can take a hike along the Twin Ponds Trail. There's so much to do here at Norris Pond that you need to camp here for a while, White Pine Campground is a delightful spot for that. That right there is a heap of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Southern Cascade Range has it all. What a place this is for outdoors people. A spree to Crater Lake National Park is worthwhile, and obviously Swan Creek flows through this vicinity.
