Nelson Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. Nelson Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range. After a long day outdoors Homewood Suites by Hilton Medford is a nice place to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Rogue River. These mountains rock, just check out all the exciting things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. While you're here at Nelson Reservoir, you could also stop at striking Hoover Pond Number One, and Nelson

Summertime highs at Nelson Reservoir typically tend to be in the 80's; the nighttime is a little colder of course, mostly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Nelson Reservoir temperatures descend to the 20's. Paddling on Big Butte Creek is so much fun. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Southern Cascade Range. | |

The top of Roxy Ann Peak is easily seen from Nelson Reservoir, and playing golf is lots of fun at Cedar Links Golf Club.
Mt. Ashland has fine slopes and a friendly staff, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from
close by Medford. This lake is so wonderful. Coal Mine Creek is close to Nelson Reservoir and is always a delight to go to, and Hoover Reservoirs is a nearby lake that you could check out. If you like the outdoors, you'll go for Nelson
Reservoir. Stimpson Gulch is a perfect place to stop by close to Nelson Reservoir, and if you came to camp Fish Lake Resort is a pleasant place to do that.
A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Nelson Reservoir; of all
the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Horizon Inn is a great choice; Nelson Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lakewood RV Park is a good local campground.
