Whitewater paddling is great on Klamath River, and not far from Mystic Lake you'll find Paragon Lake which is a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Summer at Mystic Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mystic Lake. Mystic                  Lake is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range. The Varney Creek Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close to Mystic Lake. There's so much to do here at Mystic Lake that you need to camp here for a while, White Pine Campground is a good spot for that. Mystic Lake is a wet site that gets lots of precipitation; December is the wettest month with most snow while July is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
