Upper Pony Creek Reservoir
 | 15 miles away I work for the Coos Bay-North Bend water board and have the unique pleasure to view the Upper Pony Creek Dam, The Reservoir and the surrounding watershed when work there is required. The area is quiet as it is a restricted area and the resident Elk herd is often seen along with a deer or two once and a while. When the weather is nice the lake is a beautiful blue. The trees are in a scheduled harvest cycle and replaced when cut so there is stands of huge trees alongside smaller sized tree patches. all in all it is a pleasure to get to ''work'' in such a beautiful environment and to have the distinct opportunity to live in the area I do. It is possible to view this magnificant area when tours are made available through the Water Board.... |

Laurel Lake
 | 19 miles away 1 PHOTO This is the most beautiful lake on the oregon coast. It has pleanty of huge bass and other fish in it. I saw two ospreys and one bald eagle on it. There is lots of wildlife on this lake because it is private and nobody fishes it.... This is a private lake. However, I have a 6.5 acre parcel that has access to this lake. You can fish for trophy bass from your own dock or boat that comes with this property. The property is splittable into 2 parcels that each have their own deeded lake access. All this and way more for only 369K OBO. Call 260-4958 or email endofcherrylane@earthlink.net for more pictures and info.... |
