| | Resort and Conference Center. On a beautiful day you can stop by Baker Beach near Mussel Lake, and you need to stop at The Slide since you're here. And that's not all the things to do here in the Coast Ranges. It's always nice to stop by Kilmer Spring, and Economy Inn - Florence is a tremendous spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Berry Creek, and camping is available at Mercer Lake Resort. Just can't get | |

enough of the Coast Ranges. Enjoy a round of golf at Sandpines Golf Links not far from Mussel Lake, and there are other spots here than Mussel Lake, for example Nott Lake. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more
amusing stuff to do here at Mussel Lake. Lakes? Sure, Alder Lake is in close proximity, and wonderful hiking is available along the Threemile Lake Trail. Mussel Lake is located in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. Soar
down the rapids of Siuslaw River in a kayak. The high level of precipitation makes Mussel Lake a pretty wet site; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest.

Little North Woahink Lake
 | I was born here and in my 50 years, this is the very first time I've heard of Little North Woahink lake. At first I thought perhaps the author was talking about Little Woahink which is a tiny dammed private lake/reservoir off a northern arm of Woahink off Canary RD or maybe this was a tiny lake in the vacinity I'd never heard of, so I hunted around a little bit. Nope. There is no North Little Woahink. The author was simply referring to Woahink, which btw, is a nice destination for summer water skiing or picnicing, especially because of it's very close approximity to Honeyman State Park and it's campground. Honeyman has very comfortable ammenities. Check out the yerts!... |
Carter Lake
 | 11 miles away Carter Lake is a really great place for friendly family fun. The lake is great for canoeing and fishing, warm enough to swim and frolick. The camp sites are varied with some along the lake and others along the dune. Speaking of the dune, the walk up and over the dune to the beach is great. There are many mosqitoes in the swampy part so beware!... |
