Many people like to go to Lake Murphy. A wonderful nearby hotel is Best Western Oakridge Inn. Camping is available at Slim Chance Campground, and Moonstone Village Green Resort is a magnificent place to get some rest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Why not camp at Casey's Riverside Park while you're here at Lake Murphy; Champion Creek has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby.

| | check out Judson Rock if you're here at Lake Murphy, and at Lake Murphy you can see Bohemia Mountain. So much amusing stuff to do at Lake Murphy, so little time. Bohemia Saddle is a great place to explore close to Lake Murphy, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Murphy; Mayflower Trail is a glorious local trail. Lake Murphy is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range.

will keep you coming back many times. Crystal Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth taking a look at, and great hiking is available along the Steamboat Trail. The high level of rain makes Lake Murphy a rather wet place; November
is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. The warmest time of the year at Lake Murphy comes with high temperatures in the 70's; the night is a bit cooler of course, regularly in the 40's. The cold days
of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Murphy temperatures descend to the 30's.
The Canton Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and don’t forget to go to Crystal Basin
while you're here at Lake Murphy. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lake Murphy without first paying a visit to Smith Falls; whitewater paddling is great on Brice Creek.
