So much enjoyable stuff next to Mud Reservoir, simply incredible. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Blue Mountains is excellent! Hat Spring is a good local attraction, and pleasant hiking is available along the Black Canyon Trail. Mud Reservoir is pretty arid regularly; most of the rain falls during November while September is the month with the least amount of       precipitation. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Pine Tree Campground is a good place to camp. Lakes? Sure, Beaverdam Reservoir is close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Fish House Inn is a delightful campground here, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Mud Reservoir; Coffeepot Trail is a fine local trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Mud Reservoir.                  Summer overnight lows descend down to the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 30's while Mud Reservoir overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
