Oregon has many beautiful lakes and Mud Lake is one of them. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Mud Lake. A perfect place close to Mud Lake is Bear Gulch, and you can stay the night at Ray Cole Campground. Traveler's Motel is a glorious spot to get some rest, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Berry Creek Trail. Summer at Mud Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's.

| | High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Mud Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights.
So many fun things to do in the Blue Mountains, not sufficient time. If you need a spot to stay Little Pine Inn is a fine choice, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Fawn Spring Trail. site for that, and do put some time aside to spend at Hot Springs since you're here at Mud Lake. Mud Lake is located in the Blue Mountains.
There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Blue Mountains. The Joaquin Miller Trail
is a pleasant hiking trail in the vicinity of Mud Lake. Mud Lake gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A gorgeous lake like Guernsey Pond right next door to Mud Lake is a great site to visit; of course Berry Creek flows through this region.
