This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. So much cool stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too delightful to be true. Man, is there a lot of fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. The Crabtree Lake Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Moss Lake, and camping is available at Silver Falls State Park. This lake is so wonderful.       Nordic Motel is a pleasant place to get some rest; Silver Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things near Moss Lake. While you're here at Moss Lake you can take a hike along the Pine Crest Trail, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Snow Peak Mill City Trail. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Moss Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets                  highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Moss Lake temperatures fall to the 30's. You can run the rapids of Abiqua Creek close to Moss Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Stagecoach Inn is a good choice. Moss Lake is a pretty wet place usually with lots of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
