In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Abiqua Creek; if you're here you can take a hike along the Pine Crest Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Moss Lake a reasonably wet place; most of the rain falls all through December, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Having a brilliant time in the Central       Cascade Range is simple. Dry warm beds await you at Oregon Garden Resort, and why not camp at Silver Falls State Park since you're here at Moss Lake. Through the warmest time of the year at Moss Lake highs are regularly in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Moss Lake. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Central                  Cascade Range. On a fine day at Moss Lake you can take a hike along the Snow Peak Mill City Trail, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not pop by Betty Jane Deardorff Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Silver Creek, and camping is available at Camp Dakota. If you're here at Moss Lake, you could stop by Cedar Creek, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Crabtree Lake Trail. Just can't get enough of Moss Lake.
