If you came for an overnight stay Silver Falls State Park is a pleasant place to camp; Silver Creek has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. There is a good hiking trail near Moss Lake called the Pine Crest Trail, and why not camp at Camp Dakota if you're here at Moss Lake. So many fun things to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too brilliant to be true. Going for a hike on the Crabtree       Lake Trail is always a glorious adventure, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Betty Jane Deardorff Reservoir. Moss Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. A lot of rainfall falls at Moss Lake; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Man, is there a load of amusing things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Near Moss Lake you find the Snow Peak Mill City Trail                  which is a wonderful hiking trail; dry warm beds await you at Canby Country Inn. Through the months of summer here at Moss Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Moss Lake tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Abiqua Creek; not far from Moss Lake you'll find Neil Beyer Reservoir which is a beautiful lake. So many exciting things to do here at Moss Lake, too nice to be true. After a long day outdoors Oregon Garden Resort is a great place to spend a night or two; Cedar Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out.
