The beauty of Mosquito Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Red Lake Trail is brilliant fun, and Imagination Peak is a peak you can distinguish from Mosquito Lake. Mosquito Lake is a reasonably wet place generally with a good deal of rain; most of the snow falls through December, and July is the month with the least moisture. That right there is plenty of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Southern Cascade

Why not camp at Hemlock Lake Campground if you're here at Mosquito Lake, and a delightful lake like Deep Lake is a great place to stop by. Crater Lake National Park is a great national park, and a short visit to Cold Spring is always worthwhile. Be careful coming to the Southern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. But wait, there's more to do close to Mosquito Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Cold Spring Trail, and do have a look at
Bert Lake, it's a scenic lake. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Mosquito Lake temperatures are generally in the 60's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while
the cold winter nights at Mosquito Lake are in the 10's. Mosquito Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range.
