In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Morris Reservoir is one of them. Summer at Morris Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is quite colder of course, regularly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Morris Reservoir descend into the 20's. Morris Reservoir is a good spot of normal rainfall; most of the rain falls during December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Morris Reservoir really is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. A golf course close to Morris Reservoir is Laurel Hill Golf Course, and there are some great whitewater spots on Rogue River. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts.
