Morgan Lake is a lake worth visiting. Morgan Lake is pretty arid mostly; January is the month that gets the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. The top of Table Mountain is easily spotted from Morgan Lake, and you can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Spout Springs. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Mountains. Hunter Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike

Spout Springs
 | 22 miles away 9 PHOTOS ...nuous operating ski area in Oregon and is located on a major route through the Blue Mountains. It is very popular area for snowmobiles and year-around residences. Spout Springs opened in 1927 and was first known as the Blue Mountain Ski Club. Pete and Esther Eyraud were the first owners. Pete was the second President of Pacific Northwest Ski Instructors Association and was instrumental in bringing the first French ski instructors to the northwest ski areas. Its name is derived from the numerous natural springs that are found throughout the region. There are three springs on the resort's property. Spout Springs has 2 double chair lifts, a 21 KM cross country trail system, night skiing (the entire area is lighted), and one of the states few free tubing hills. In the late 60's, Spout Springs was the Nordic training center for the United States Olympic team and the Norwegian jump team. Spout Springs flies the Olympic Flag for this distinction.
