All the water falling down from the sky makes Moose Lake a wet place; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while July is usually the driest month. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. You are near Bloody Point while you're here at Moose Lake, and close by you come across the Three Creek Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. So many entertaining things to do       here in the Central Cascade Range, too good to be true. Get covered with water paddling on Canyon Creek, and Moose Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Mc Kenzie River Trailer/rv Court is a good site to camp nearby. Here at Moose Lake there are plenty of people from Albany-Lebanon, and there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Gold Hill Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Quartzville Creek, and Lazy Days Mobile Park is a good                  local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Channel Creek is in close proximity to Moose Lake and is always a joy to visit, and the Chimney Peak Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. All year is a brilliant time in the Central Cascade Range if you like the outdoors. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. All through the summertime at Moose Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's.
