     You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Siskiyou Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rogue River, and at Moore Reservoir you can see Upper Table Rock. That right there is heaps of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Siskiyou Mountains has it all. After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn and Suites White City is a pleasant site to spend a night or two; a good place to camp here at Moore Reservoir is Jackson County  
   Parks and Rec. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Chicago Trail is wonderful fun, and camping is available at Emigrant Lake.
This lake is located in the wonderful Siskiyou Mountains. Moore Reservoir is right next door to Skou Dam which is a lovely site undeniably worth stopping at, and not far from Moore Reservoir you'll stumble on Bingham Reservoir which is a beautiful lake. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading.
 
               Going for a hike along the Red Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; there are other places here than Moore Reservoir, for example Despain Reservoir.
From a rain point of view Moore Reservoir is a rather common place; the month with most of the rain is December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Medford, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Canyon Number Three Trail. At Moore Reservoir through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 40's; nighttime lows at Moore Reservoir throughout the winter mostly dip into the 30's.
This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Medford come to Moore Reservoir.

If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
