Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rogue River, and at Moore Reservoir you can see Upper Table Rock. That right there is heaps of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Siskiyou Mountains has it all. After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn and Suites White City is a pleasant site to spend a night or two; a good place to camp here at Moore Reservoir is Jackson County       Parks and Rec. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Chicago Trail is wonderful fun, and camping is available at Emigrant Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Siskiyou Mountains. Moore Reservoir is right next door to Skou Dam which is a lovely site undeniably worth stopping at, and not far from Moore Reservoir you'll stumble on Bingham Reservoir which is a beautiful lake. From a rain point of view Moore Reservoir is a rather common place; the month with most of the rain is December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Medford, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Canyon Number Three Trail. At Moore Reservoir through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 40's; nighttime lows at Moore Reservoir throughout the winter mostly dip into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
