The beauty of Modoc Pond is reason enough to stop by. So many fun things in the Siskiyou Mountains, just extraordinary. Not far from Modoc Pond, you'll hit upon Modoc Reservoirs which is a wonderful lake; you can go for a hike on the Chicago Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Modoc Pond; Tison Trail is a perfect local trail, and a nice close by hotel is Super 8 Motel Medford OR.
