This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Ash Creek is a magnificent local stream, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Modoc Pond; Alco Trail is a great local trail. Modoc Pond is not far at all from Medford; you'll find a pretty lake called Modoc Reservoirs. An average amount of rainfall falls at Modoc Pond; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is July. This       lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Eagle Point Golf Course; a pleasant journey to Agate Desert is a tremendous way to spend an afternoon. At Modoc Pond throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Modoc Pond are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Big                  Butte Creek; a delightful lake like Military Slough Reservoirs is a good place to explore. The Siskiyou Mountains scenery is always beautiful. A tremendous close by hotel is La Quinta Inn Suites White City; Emigrant Lake is a tremendous campground nearby. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Tison Trail. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Siskiyou Mountains. There's whitewater on Rogue River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Jackson County Parks and Rec is a delightful local campground. Having a pleasant time in the Siskiyou Mountains is easy.
